Special Meeting and Block Party, Saturday, June 8th 5pm

We will be having two block parties this year. The first will be Saturday, June 8th in the cul-de-sac at 5pm. Email Everyone@TimberRidgeVillas.com with what you’d like to eat. We’ll be applying to the city for funding, so if you bring food to share, it doesn’t have to be huge.

At our last annual HOA meeting, a majority of members present were interested in relaxing our overnight street parking restrictions within the neighborhood. Our overnight street parking restrictions came from the original HOA bylaws given to us from the bank. But our HOA board listened to this feedback and has drafted an amendment to grant overnight street parking in some circumstances. HOA Members will be asked to decide on the amendment proposal at the June 8th meeting.

This amendment grants overnight street parking on and before 6 holidays, if the driveway and garage are already full, and if there’s no snow on the ground. This was the result of much deliberation at board meetings, but the wording is not set in stone until May 27th when the final draft must be posted prior to the meeting so if you spot a problem, please tell us at Everyone@TimberRidgeVillas.com .

Board Meeting 2019-02-20

The next TRV HOA Board meeting will be held at Johnson County Library’s Antioch Branch, at 630pm on Wednesday, February 20th. The address is 8700 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Merriam, KS 66202. Agenda to include:

  • Minutes, Finance, AC Requests, and Bylaws reports.
  • 2019 Lawn Maintenance Contract
  • Schedule next board meeting.

All Lot Owners Meeting 2018-12-13

It’s that time of year again!  Our Annual All-Lot-Owners meeting will be at Merriam City Hall 9001 W 62nd St. Merriam KS 66202 on December 13th at 6:30 PM Central Time.

The location is basically right up the street from IKEA.  Park between City Hall and the police station and come in the main doors.  Stairs and an elevator will take you upstairs to the community training room we have booked.

The Annual All-Lot-Owners meeting is the most important meeting to attend as a lot owner. 

We will have updated copies of the Indexed Contact Map with new homeowner names and contact information.  If you want to update your own information before it is printed, contact Billy or email Feedback@TimberRidgeVillas.com ASAP.

This year, board-members Billy and Mike are up for re-election.  If you’d also like to run for a board position, please announce your candidacy to the neighborhood on Everyone@TimberRidgeVillas.com.  No amendments are drafted to be voted on.

will be one week later, on Thursday, 2018-12-20 at 6:30PM Central Time at Antioch Library at 8700 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Merriam, KS 66202.  Residents are welcomed to attend board meetings as well, though there is nothing or lot owners to vote on.

  • Followup on issues raised at All-lot-owners meeting.

  • Architectural Committee Update (Review of requests and changes since last meeting)
