At Merriam City Council yesterday, Cheryl Moore (one of our ward’s representatives) asked staff for another update on the wayside horns project.
City staff replied that despite a work delay at the Johnson drive crossing, they expect the wayside horn systems to be active at Carter and 67th street crossings within 7 days.
So get out there and take in the train horn noise one last time folks. They’re about to be history, making Timber Ridge Villas a quieter place to live!
